Courts must be places where members are filled spiritually, they see charity working, they feel grace moving in their lives, and know they are blessed because God created them.
Rebecca “Becky” is a member of Court Immaculate Mary #2134 in Angleton. She started her CDA journey in 1995 and has served on many committees. Her court members elected her to serve as Financial Secretary and Regent. In 2011, she was appointed District Deputy for District #35 and the 2011 State Convention Liturgy Chairman. In 2013, she served on the State Convention Resolutions/Bylaws committee. In 2018, she was elected to serve on the National Nominating Committee. She began serving the state court as State Treasurer in 2013 and has held each office. In 2021, Becky was honored and humbled to be elected as Texas State Regent. She sees charity as a wonderful grace and great mercy - see the charity around you and be blessed among women.
Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Angleton is her home parish and she has served on many church committees. Among them are; Liturgy Coordinator, RCIA Team Leader, Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, CCD teacher, and making a joyful noise to the Lord as a choir member.
Becky earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in Accounting from Texas A&M University in 1983. She is the Chief Financial Officer for her family business in Angleton.
She has three children and all are married. Her first born, Jeremy is married to Alyssa and their children are: Andrew, Julia, Alistair, Edison, and Evangeline Wren. The second oldest is Elizabeth with her husband Ben and 2 girls, Samantha (baby girl) and Isabella. Her youngest daughter Jessica is married to Christopher.
Becky loves traveling, reading, and participating in outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking, star gazing, and camping. Becky states, “I am excited to serve the Texas CDA members and represent our great state at national events.”
