We welcome you to experience the many ways Catholic Daughters of the Americas can enhance the spiritual growth in your home, parish and community through Unity and Charity. The Catholic Daughters of the Americas is a non-profit organization also commonly known as CDA, which began in 1903 by the Knights of Columbus. The Texas State Court was established in 1917.
On the morning of June 9, 2022 an explosion occurred at Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hostyn, TX resulting in a fire which destroyed the church. The cause of the fire is believed to be a gas leak and is under investigation. This parish is the home to Court 2282, Queen of the Holy Rosary. One person escaped from the fire and later lost her life, a member of Court 2282. "We absolutely lost everything inside the church, except for one angel statue that my parents had given to the parish awhile back. This angel was facing the chapel where a person crawled out of the horrible fire. It is truly a miracle," Regent Brenda Fietsam messaged to State Regent Becky Brown. Donations can be made to rebuilding the church. Donate Here
